Welcome Letter from the Headteacher
My name is Debbie Carter and I have had the privilege of being the Headteacher at Horsham Nursery School since 2003.
During this time I have seen many changes, having relocated the Nursery from its old home in Horsham Park to its new site here in 2008. Subsequently we have opened our Under 3’s provision and also widened our offer to include extended sessions for Nursery School children on top of their 15 hour free entitlement provision.
Our current building is a fantastic purpose built nursery that provides an amazing environment both inside and out for children to play, grow, develop and thrive.
As a maintained Nursery School we employ qualified teachers, who lead a skilled team of highly motivated and committed staff, providing the very best educational experiences for young children.
We believe that children learn best when they are happy, and feel safe and secure. We aim to work in partnership with you as parents and carers to support children to become proactive, motivated and enthusiastic learners. We believe this happens best when children have the freedom, opportunities and experiences to follow their interests and passions whilst exploring new interests and ideas.
If you would like to find out more about the nursery then please call the nursery office and to make an appointment to meet me and have a tour of the nursery, when you will able to ask questions and find out if this is the right setting for your child.
I look forward to meeting you.
